This is something I wrote in my previous life. I remember her today just as I always have, in silence, in my dreams and in my prayers.

SHE LIVES ON

She lives on.
In my smiles and tears
In my cries and prayers
In circles and my lines
In days that shine,
She lives on.

She lives on,
In moments to spare
In joy and despair
In clouds very bright
In proud starry nights
She lives on.

She lives on,
In droplets of my dreams
In clarified sunbeams
In dew that shows
In laughter that flows
She lives on.

She lives on,
In my breath and my air
In my beats that I share
In skies and on land
In clouds and on sand
She lives on.

She lives on,
In this life and beyond
In times that move on
In darkness and in light
In visions of delight
She lives on.

She lives on,
In all that I know
In all where I go
In slumber and awake
In all that it takes
She lives on.

She lives on,
In intelligent notions
In rage and motions
In my lows and my highs
In my hopes and my sighs
She lives on.

She lives on,
In flashes of my pride
In moments that I ride
In my grounded knees
In my battered pleads
She lives on.

She lives on,
In stooping silence
In brooding distance
In solitary waits
In forlorn dates
She lives on.

She lives on,
In traveling sips
In my dry lips
In roving touches
In hidden blushes
She lives on.

She lives on,
In fingers that are mine
In each of HIS signs
In the meaning of love
In ….heavens above.
She lives on.

Really Nice. it reminds me of " SHE WALKS IN BEAUTY" (12th standard) and Nida Fazli's tribute to his father "FATIYA".

Tumare hath
Meri Ungleyuon mein sans lete hain

Jab bhi kalam kagaj udhatha hoon
tumhe betha hua main apni hi kursi mein pata hoon.

meri awaaz mein chupkar
tumara jahan rehta hai.....

tumari kaber par jisne tumara naam likha hai
woh jhootha hai
tumari kaber mein main dafan hoon
tum mujme jinda ho.
kabhi fursat mile to fatiya padne chale aana!

thanks for refereshing some lovely thoughts.

I love Nida Fazli's 'Fatiyha'. Heard him recite it on a TV program couple of years ago and it stuck in my memory.

Thanks for reminding me of the same.
