First things first, about ‘braising’ as a cooking method – Braising is a combination cooking method using both moist and dry heat wherein the food is first seared at a high temperature and then finished in a covered pot with a variable amount of liquid, resulting in a particular flavor. (Yeah, that’s what wiki tells you)

Duck in Orange sauce is a fairly common recipe and can be found with a single search if one attempts to do it. Get a piece of duck and a pack of Blue Moon (Check the link if you don’t know what it is). Season the duck and shove it in a pre-heated oven. Open the first bottle of Blue Moon. Sit back, switch on the TV. Finish the next three bottles while the duck roasts.

Once the oven starts beeping, call your spouse to get it out (You won’t probably be able to find the mittens anyway). Get the duck in a pan. Prepare the orange sauce with some peel in it (Told you look for an online recipe to do this) or just grab a packet or pre-cooked sauce. Open another bottle. While the sauce is cooking and no one else is looking, empty half the bottle of Blue Moon in the pan. Let the sauce come to a boil.

Get the duck on the plate, pour sauce over it. Finish the remaining pack of Blue Moon with the dinner. Enjoy. Hic… :)
